At the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, the Austrian sibling duo ABOR & Tynna reached the 15th place for Germany with her song “Baller”. In a subsequent interview at the after-show party, ESC commentator Thorsten Schorn came to an unpleasant moment for the singer.
Abor & Tynna: Interview with private question
During her conversation, Schorn asked Tynna: “The guy whose lovesickness you hit away did he actually get in touch again?” – A rather private question that Tynna, according to her body language, would rather not answer. Nevertheless, she narrowly countered with “nope”. Schorn then commented: “He doesn’t need, right?” Tynna seemed to feel visibly uncomfortable in this questioning, she rolled her eyes, shook her head and looked down. This apparently also tempted Stefan Raab to switch on.
Raab switches on
The entertainer, who supported the duo as a mentor in his way to ESC 2025, now also gave his mustard: “I would not answer private questions in principle, Tynna, a little tip for the future.” This probably well -intentioned advice also seemed superfluous, because Tynna in particular continued to look annoyed – possibly now because of this additional instruction?
Schorn’s question was perceived by many on the network, since this appealed to personal details that had little to do with the ESC presence and therefore do not have to be exploited in public. Raabs intervention was also discussed; Some saw a patronizing attitude towards Tynna.
Elsewhere, the entertainer already emphasized: “You shouldn’t forget that you have not already had a long -term career behind them, but has been Ever’s biggest appearance today.”
Raab takes responsibility for cutting off at the ESC
Stefan Raab also explained that he would take full responsibility for the ESC result. “Of course I always promise that we win, and until the opposite has been proven – that’s the best thing you can do. Otherwise you don’t need to go anywhere.”
