The date of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral has been confirmed.
On September 8, the queen of the deceased Elizabeth’s the funeral date has been confirmed. The monarch, who died at the age of 96, will be laid to rest on Monday, September 19, 2022.
The blessing ceremony will be held in the Westminster Abbey church, where Elizabeth and Philip were married in 1947. In addition to the royal family, British politicians and, in addition to the sitting prime minister, the previous prime ministers are expected to attend the ceremony.
