Queen Elizabeth Wants Camilla To Be Queen Consort

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth wants Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, to become queen consort as soon as her son Charles becomes king. The Queen announced this in a letter on Saturday, the day before her platinum jubilee.

The title queen consort refers to the wife of a reigning king and would become ‘Queen Camilla’ in the future, according to British broadcaster BBC.
