C.How will Queen Elizabeth protect herself from the 43 degrees expected in the south of England these days? The sovereign remains in her apartments in Windsor, whose thousand rooms have always been described as rather cold and difficult to heat. Queen Elizabeth: hot tea even in summer

While waiting to move to cooler Balmoral, Scotland for her summer vacation, the doctors recommended that she drink plenty of water and avoid taking walks in Windsor Gardens. However, Elizabeth prefers hot tea even in the heat of summer. And she doesn’t detach herself from an old heater which, like the fan, often follows her from room to room.

Queen Elizabeth doesn’t trust English weather

Elizabeth knows that temperatures can drop dramatically in Windsor as well. And she likes to be prepared for any eventuality. The queen couldn’t help but worry about the guards stationed for hours outside the gates of Windsor and Buckingham Palace, tight in their iconic red uniform and with a very warm bear fur cap. And in a completely extraordinary way, it allowed them to sip water every now and then, without moving from their position and continuing to hold their rifle.
