The Queen died at 3.10pm UK time on September 8 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. He was 96 years old when he died.

Queen Elizabeth II is the longest-reigning monarch in Britain.

He was succeeded by King Charles III, who took power on September 10.

Queen Elizabeth II reigned for 70 years and had a great influence on the whole world. His passing was widely respected and followed throughout the world.

Buckingham Palace released a photo of the monarch’s final resting place last week, showing a Belgian black marble slab with the names of the queen’s parents and late spouse hand-engraved in brass. The final resting place is in St. George’s memorial chapel.
