Queen consort Camilla surprised at the state visit: Subtly honored Queen Elizabeth

King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla are currently on a state visit to Germany.

King Charles and the Queen Consort Camilla arrived yesterday on a state visit to Germany. The royal couple were received by the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Buedenbender.

The eyes were fixed on the appearance of the queen consort Camilla. She was wearing a turquoise dress designed by a fashion designer Bruce Oldfield. Camilla’s hat was designed by a famous Irish designer Philip Treacy.

The queen consort also honored the memory of Queen Elizabeth during the state visit. He wore the brooch of the late monarch, whose Queen Mary gave to Elisabet as a confirmation gift in 1942.

The presence of the royal couple was honored with a large ceremony at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Charles kindly greeted the citizens who arrived on the scene. The king burst out laughing when one of the citizens offered him a cardboard crown from the fast food chain Burger King.

The purpose of the trip is to highlight the good relations between Germany and Great Britain. In his celebratory speech, Charles thanked how much the Germans had shown sympathy due to Queen Elizabeth’s passing.
