THEthe world changes. And it changes quickly. Until two months ago, Elizabeth II was on the throne. Now the queen consort, Camilla, 75 years old. Indeed, the “consort”, as they call her with a little treachery at Buckingham Palace. And the new sovereign hosted a meeting between royals at Clarence House to launch an important initiative against violence against women. This is the UN campaign, “16 Days of Activism”, which provides for meetings between associations and organizations on the subject until 10 December, World Day for Human Rights. Guests in the residence of Charles III, Princess Mary of Denmark and Rania of Jordan. A strange trio. The three of them had never seen each other together, with Camilla as Queen of the British Empire.
Camilla and Rania of Jordan, “fellow” queens
Yet everything always changes. It had a certain effect see the “new” royal generations reunited, understood not, of course, from the point of view of age. New looks, new smiles and new commitments. Which will converge on Tuesday evening, at Buckingham Palace, in a gala that will give many emotions. Rania of Jordan wore an emerald cocktail dress for the occasion @badgleymischka and a pair of Dior pumps. Queen Camilla opted for a cornflower blue dress @fiona_clare_couture, while Mary of Denmark a look composed of a @redvalentino top with rhinestone applications and a midi skirt @dolcegabbana.
The jewels of the sovereign
Striking, as always, it was the jewels worn by Queen Camilla who was photographed between Rania of Jordan and Mary of Denmark. She has chosen to exhibit a necklace with a ruby pendant that she bears the initials of his five grandchildren, Lola, Freddy, Eliza, Louis and Gus. And then an amber bracelet with the same initials as @vancleefarpels. Grandma’s love, one might say. Even if it looks pretty wanting to follow the “diplomatic” tradition of Queen Elizabeth, who communicated through jewels.
