Quarter families still have older energy contract, and that leads to “absurd” situations

A household on the four still has a contract for electricity or natural gas that was concluded before 2024, when there was a lot of volatility on the market due to the energy crisis. This is according to figures from the Flemish utility regulator. The price differences are also large between fixed and variable contracts.
