Dow Jones-Qiagen takes over Genoox, a provider of AI-based software based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The software from Genoox enables clinical laboratories to accelerate and scale the processing of complex gene tests, Qiagen continued on Monday evening.

The takeover will further strengthen Franklin, a cloud-based community platform and flagship by Genoox, part of the Portfolio Qiagen Digital Insights (QDI), which further strengthens Qiagens “leading position in the genetic interpretation for applications in clinical genomics”.

The purchase price is $ 70 million in cash. In addition, Qiagen could make additional payments of up to $ 10 million. According to the further information, the takeover will probably contribute around $ 5 million to the sales of Qiagen in 2025 and have no influence on the adjusted result per share (EPS).
