In its propaganda frenzy, the Russian War Ministry announced that several rocket launchers had been placed between houses in Kharkiv. According to the Russian ministry, this should be used to fire at the Russian armed forces outside the city.

The reason, according to state propaganda: “The purpose of the provocation is to provoke a return fire from the Russian artillery on the residential sector of Kharkiv,” said the spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

► According to the Russian War Ministry, these “provoked images” should then be given to Western media.
