French President Emmanuel Macron proposed holding a summit on security and strategic stability in Europe with the participation of the President of Russia Vladimir Putinand American leader Joe Biden. According to the Elysee Palace, both sides agreed on the need for such an event.
It is noted that the agenda of the summit should be prepared by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during their meeting on February 24.
The message states that the summit can only take place on the condition that Russia will not invade Ukraine.
