Pursuit of French vehicle ends with serious crash in Menen: “Two people arrested”

The attempted escape by a French vehicle ended badly on Sunday afternoon in Menen, West Flanders. After a wild chase, the car crashed heavily in Rijselstraat, near the bridge over the Leie. Both the driver and passenger were arrested. The passenger was also injured and taken to hospital.
