Purmerender Julius van den Berg takes the mountain jersey in the Vuelta

At the top of the Amerongse Berg, Julius van den Berg wins the sprint during the second stage of the Vuelta. As a result, the cyclist from Purmerend takes two mountain points and will be allowed to cycle in the blue polka dot jersey tomorrow.

Stage two goes from Den Bosch to Utrecht. And the sprint took place at 69 kilometers from the finish. Julius van den Berg defeated the Frenchman Guernalec on the Amerongse Berg. Jetse Bol from Avenhorn had to drop out earlier during the sprint. It looked like he peaked too early.
