Purmerend Julius van den Berg finds shelter with the cycling team Team-dsm

Julius van den Berg from Purmerend has managed to find a new team. The 26-year-old cyclist will ride for the Dutch Team DSM-Firmenich next season, this is reported Cycling flash. It is not yet known how long Van den Berg has signed with his new team.

Last summer, Van den Berg was told by his then employer EF Education-EasyPost that he was no longer included in the team’s plans. At Team-dsm, Van de Berg will ride together with his best friend Fabio Jakobsen. The best sprinter in the Netherlands switched to Team-dsm a few months ago.

Van de Berg rode for more than five years for EF Education-EasyPost, which picked him up from the Dutch training team SEG Racing Academy in 2018. Van den Berg has been waiting for a new victory for more than two years. His last victory was the seventh stage in the Tour of Poland in 2021.
