Public prosecutor’s office appeals against acquittal of cycling tourists for collision in which Urbain (73) died

The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office is appealing against the acquittal of two cycling tourists for a fatal collision on the towpath along the Albert Canal in Oelegem. The police court ruled last Tuesday that the 73-year-old cyclist Urbain, who was hit by a car, should have left the group of cycling tourists ahead.
