A Dutch man (25) from Eindhoven is suspected of participating in a terrorist organization due to his role in the international Com movement. From previous research by NRC showed that in these types of groups, vulnerable children are being extorted online and forced to commit sexual abuse and violence. The Public Prosecution Service confirms reports of this Zembla about the case.
The suspect was active for many years in and founder of the so-called online group ‘No Lives Matter’ (NLM) under the name ‘Cxrpse’ (corpse). Members of NLM, mainly active on Telegram and Discord, encourage each other, among other things, to attack or kill random people on the street and then livestream this.
It is the first time that a Dutch person has had to appear in court for this. The first pro forma hearing will take place on October 28 in the extra-secure hearing room in the Rotterdam court.

Children are extorted and incited to self-harm or even murder: the most sadistic images are shared in these chat groups
Com movement
NLM is an offshoot of the sadistic network 764, both belonging to the international Com movement. This summer discovered NRC that there are also Dutch children in these groups, as victims or as perpetrators. That number has now risen to more than thirty. The Public Prosecution Service confirms against NRC that the NLM considers a terrorist organization.
The Com movement focuses mainly on children and teenagers, mainly between the ages of eight and seventeen, who belong to ethnic minorities, the LGBTI community or who struggle with mental problems. Victims are incited to violence against themselves or others in protected channels. Photos and videos shared by members of the groups show animal cruelty, child abuse, self-harm and even suicide or murder.
Since 2021, dozens of people have been arrested for their participation in Com, including in Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy. It is the first time that a Dutch person has had to appear in court for participating in this movement. The FBI is currently investigating at least three hundred cases related to Com.
The National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) also warned about the Com movement in the most recent threat assessment this year. According to the NCTV, Com focuses on “random violence, chaos and the collapse of society.”
Examples of other NLM cases
The radicalization within the Com network mainly takes place online, but that turned out not to be enough for some. Two specific groups in particular focus on offline violence: MKU (also known as ‘Maniac Murder Cult’) and NLM (‘No Lives Matter’). Members of these groups have brought their online beliefs into the offline world before.
For example, last week it was announced that an Iranian-German man from Hamburg is being prosecuted by the German Public Prosecution Service for more than two hundred criminal offenses against more than thirty children, including murder and attempted murder. He was active in the Com movement under the alias ‘White Tiger’ between 2021 and 2023.
At least eight crimes in the Swedish capital Stockholm are linked to the Swedish offshoot of NLM, it revealed Swedish medium SVT a year ago. A fourteen-year-old boy is suspected there of stabbing an 82-year-old man in August 2024 and a woman, probably 50 years old, a month later. Later, SVT discovered that six other people had been attacked around that area – all the acts had been filmed by the boy and posted on Telegram.
In 2022, a German boy was arrested in Romania for the murder of a 74-year-old woman on the street in the Romanian city of Medias. The seventeen-year-old suspect approached her from behind, stabbed her and then slit her throat. He filmed everything and posted the video on Telegram with the caption “I feel like God.”
