On Wednesday, the Public Prosecution Service asked the Amsterdam District Court to let Omroep Powned freely in the criminal case on secret recordings of former mayor of Maastricht Onno Hoes. According to the OM, Powned ‘contributed to the social debate’ and ‘denounced an abuse’.
