Public Prosecution Service in appeal against sentences for extractors in the port of Rotterdam

The Public Prosecution Service (OM) will appeal against the sentences that the Rotterdam court has handed out to eight so-called pickers. These are men who are used by criminal gangs to secure cocaine from containers. They were sentenced to prison terms of up to ten months, but the court handed out much lesser sentences.
