PSV lets Yorbe Vertessen leave after days of uncertainty

Striker Yorbe Vertessen still leaves PSV for the German 1. FC Union Berlin. Both clubs have confirmed his transfer. This was preceded by days of uncertainty.

The 23-year-old Vertessen wanted to complete his transition to the German team last Monday. But his transfer was delayed because Noa Lang was injured again.

PSV is still looking for a winger. Couhaib Driouech of Excelsior is an important candidate.

Vertessen joined the PSV youth academy in 2009. He played an important role in the Champions League group stage this season.

In the away match against Sevilla, the Belgian forced an own goal from Nemanja Gudelj and then prepared Ricardo Pepi’s winning goal.

Vertessen replaces Sheraldo Becker at Union Berlin. The former Ajax striker left for Real Sociedad last month. PSV will receive around 5 million euros for the fast winger.
