PSV is in the next round of the KNVB Cup. The Eindhoven team won 8-0 against Koninklijke HFC on Tuesday evening. At halftime the score was already 4-0, which allowed Peter Bosz’s team to take things easier in the second half. The focus in Eindhoven is now on the top match against Feyenoord next Sunday.
Royal HFC lasted twelve minutes in the Philips Stadium. Hirving Lozano gave PSV the lead against the amateurs from Haarlem. For the Mexican, that was a kind of farewell gift: he is in his last week in Eindhoven. He will transfer to the United States next winter.
Even before half time, the home team made it 4-0. Goalkeeper Mitchel Michaelis scored an own goal. The third and fourth Eindhoven goals were scored by Ricardo Pepi and Guus Til.

PSV took things easier in the second half. After some fumbling at the back, the Haarlem amateurs made it 5-0. Goals from Ricardo Pepi and Ivan Perisic (2 times) made the final score 8-0.
PSV can now focus on the last match of 2024, and that is not the least. Feyenoord will visit the Philips Stadium on Sunday – an important match in the battle for the championship.
