In the gigantic duel, FC Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain fought a real thriller. In the end, the decision was made in the penalty shootout.
Paris Saint-Germain has achieved the comeback in the Champions League and yet reached the quarter-finals. After they had lost the round of 16 in front of a home audience with 0-1 against Liverpool FC, they had a front in the second leg on the Anfield Road with a goal by Ousmane Dembélé (12th minute) after 90 minutes. The extension did not bring any further hits, so the decision was made from the penalty point.
There PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma became a hero with two parried penalty. His teammates all turned their attempts, so it was 4-1 for PSG in the end of the penalty shootout. In the quarter -finals, either Aston Villa or FC Bruges is waiting either. The duel only decides on Wednesday. However, Villa decided the first leg in Bruges 3-1 and goes into the second leg as a clear favorite.
