PSG threatens Draxler and Kehrer with a second team

The French champions Paris Saint-Germain are apparently threatening the German internationals Julian Draxler and Thilo Kehrer with assignments in the second team.

This is reported by the newspaper “L’Équipe”. In addition to the transfer candidates Draxler and Kehrer, several other professionals that PSG wants to get rid of are affected.

If these players have not found a new club by September 1, consideration is now being given to giving them match practice in the second team of PSG, which competes in the fifth division in France.

The 15 to 20 players affected no longer took part in regular team training, but trained in a group of two, wrote “L’Équipe”.

The new coach Christophe Galtier has made it clear that it is not possible to work well with the current 54 professional players and that he wants to streamline the squad.
