PSG: Neymar denies dispute with Donnarumma after losing to Real Madrid

PSG failed in CL at Real

Neymar has denied a media report that the Paris Saint-Germain striker had an altercation with team-mate Gianluigi Donnarumma in the dressing room after losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League. “There was no fight in the dressing room,” the Brazilian wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

Neymar called reports that he also blamed the PSG keeper for the equalizer in the meantime as a “lie”. In addition, the 30-year-old published part of a conversation with a news service with Donnarumma. The Italian keeper wrote that he was sorry about “last night”. Along with a link to an article also detailing the alleged altercation between the two PSG pros, Donnarumma wrote: “This news is unacceptable.”

For his part, Neymar replied to the 23-year-old: “Friend! Calm! That can happen in football and we are a team.” He is also still young and will win a lot. PSG were eliminated by a 3-1 defeat at Real on Wednesday evening in the second leg of the CL round of 16. After the knockout in Madrid and media reports of misconduct by the Paris club management, UEFA is examining the referee’s report (for notification).
