PSG extends with long-term injured Kimpembe – operational correction announced

No game since February

Paris Saint-Germain has extended the contract with long-term injured Presnel Kimpembe. As the Ligue 1 leaders announced, the 28-year-old central defender is now tied down until 2026. Kimpembe, who has been out of action since February with a ruptured Achilles tendon, came to PSG as a 10-year-old in 2005, where he went through all stages of the training system before making his professional debut in 2014. In total, he has 236 appearances.

“I am very happy that I can continue my story with the club I love. I thank Paris Saint-Germain, its president and its fans for their renewed trust. I hope to wear these colors again as soon as possible,” said Kimpembe, who will undergo “surgical correction” in the coming days in order to return to the pitch as quickly as possible.
