Providers make millions from expired gift cards, Consumers’ Association is taking action

The Dutch spend an estimated 190 to 380 million euros on gift cards every year. The cards are sometimes too complicated to exchange and ultimately the money ends up with the providers. The Consumers’ Association is taking steps against these parties, the organization said on Friday evening in a broadcast of the WNL program Stand van Nederland.
