In Istanbul, protests erupted after the arrest of Ekrem Imamoglu, the mayor of Istanbul. The authorities in the province of Istanbul have banned all demonstrations for four days. There is a lot of police on their feet and access to the internet is limited. Multiple social media, including X, YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok, are closed.
