A demonstration against the Dutch asylum policy has ended in riots and confrontations with the police in The Hague. A service car went up in flames and the ME had to use tear gas. The demonstrators put on through the city and set destruction, windows were smashed at the D66 party office. Two press photographers were injured by demonstrators. Around 4.30 pm the peace returned to the city. “If I had known this in advance, I would never have organized this,” says the organizer of the demonstration.
