Promotion for CFO Anne Mehlman

Anne Mehlman, who is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Crocs, is taking on the role of President at the US footwear retailer.

Her predecessor Michelle Poole has decided to retire, Crocs announced on Thursday. She will hand over to Mehlman in May and will then remain with the company as a consultant until the beginning of 2025. Poole has a career spanning more than 30 years and has held leadership roles in merchandising, product, design and marketing at Crocs for the past decade.

Mehlman brings more than 20 years of financial and operational experience. She has been active as CFO since 2018, but was previously active at the company as Vice President of Corporate Finance from 2011 to 2016.

“Building a strong talent bench is one of our strategic priorities,” said Crocs CEO Andrew Rees. “Anne has been a key source of ideas over the past five years in her current role as Chief Financial Officer, and I have no doubt that her strategic skills, commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the Crocs brand will position us well for our next growth venture .”

Until a successor is found, Mehlman will continue to serve as CFO. Crocs has already started the search for this.
