Prof attracts alarm bell: “Every year 70 to 80 murders stay under the radar due to shortage of forensic pathologists”

The Brussels forensic pathologists are sounding the alarm: there are far too few forensic pathologists in our country. That writes ‘RTL info’. As a result, too few autopsies are performed and an estimated 10 percent of the murders go unnoticed. Minister of Justice Annelies Verlinden (CD&V) promises to open two new forensic centers towards the end of the legislature.
