The animated series Agent Elvis premieres on Netflix on March 17th. Now it has been announced that Priscilla Presley – the widow of the king of rock ‘n’ roll Elvis Presley – will voice herself in the series. She joins Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey, who will take on the role of Elvis, as well as Kaitlin Olson, Johnny Knoxville, Niecy Nash, Tom Kenny and Don Cheadle.

In Agent Elvis, Elvis Presley is recruited into a secret government spy program and must fight dark forces threatening the country – while still performing as a singer. The animated series is intended for an adult audience and is being produced by Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures TV and Authentic Brands Group. In addition to speaking, Priscilla Presley is also serving as an executive producer.

Priscilla Presley recently had to accept a great blow of fate when her only daughter Lisa-Marie Presley died on January 17, 2023 at the age of only 54. The cause of death was given as cardiac arrest. Baz Luhrman’s biopic Elvis hit theaters last year and was highly praised by Presley. The 77-year-old said that viewers would “understand a little more of Elvis’ journey” through the film.
