Princess Alexia recently had a bit of luck, because she was almost in the pub at the same time with Privé boss Evert Santegoeds. It made a difference. “Damn it, that’s what I thought.”
It’s no secret that Princess Alexia likes to party and luckily for her she enjoys the protection of the media code: there is a unilateral agreement that the gossip media cannot simply publish private photos of her. Nevertheless, Evert Santegoeds was recently disappointed that he came close to not being in the pub with her.

Evert could almost admire Alexia up close. “The last time I went to a bar, the bartender said, ‘Hey, you’re just missing out on the future queen.’ Damn it, I thought. I would have liked to have experienced that then,” he says in the podcast Strictly Private.
He continues: “She was with a few friends at the time, so there was no one in the group yet that we could think: well, that will be the new prince consort, so no. We will keep an eye on it, but they are all still young. If you look at Willem-Alexander: he was already 36 when he got married in 2013.”

Many people think that Alexia is having an affair with Antoon, who did not deny this recently in Eva Jinek’s talk show. “That is such a striking combination that I think – especially after his performance last week with Eva Jinek – that there is something more going on there,” says Evert.
He concludes: “That was so rehearsed and there was so much no denial that I think: well, Eva, I think you could have asked that one question…”
