Prime Minister Rutte will visit Israel and the Palestinian Territories on Monday, February 12. During the visit, developments in Israel and the Palestinian areas will be central.
The visit starts on Monday afternoon with a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, followed by a conversation with Minister Gantz. Later in the day, Prime Minister Rutte will meet with Palestinian Prime Minister Shtayyeh.
The meetings discussed the importance of an immediate pause in fighting that should ultimately lead to a lasting solution, the humanitarian situation in Gaza, the importance of the release of all hostages and the need for a long-term solution to the conflict.
