The premiere of Primavera Sound in Madrid was held in the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey, 40 kilometers from the center of the capital, and had to suspend its opening day due to “the adverse weather forecast.” Then, in a statement, he already stressed that “the persistent inclement weather” in recent weeks affected the pre-production of the appointment. “As a consequence, despite the fact that the balance of the festival was more than satisfactory on a musical level, the expectations we had were not met and the experience of the public due to certain logistical aspects was not what was desired,” acknowledges Almudena Heredero, director of Primavera Sound Madrid, through the statement.
