It has long been clear that there are only a few known adjustment screws to make the system future-proof. Either the older people work longer, or the contribution rate for the younger people increases – or, the last, realistic possibility: the tax subsidy from the budget continues to grow. In any case, it is important to create incentives for private provision, whose reputation has unfortunately been tarnished with the Riester debacle has suffered permanent damage.”/DP/jha
