Eintracht Frankfurt’s President Mathias Beck has to pause for the time being after a heart operation. As the club announced, the intervention on Friday was necessary due to a delayed pneumonia and was successful.
The 53-year-old is on the way of improvement, but an exact date for his return to day-to-day business has not yet been determined. Beck has been President of Eintracht for a year and also took over the chair of the Eintracht Frankfurt Football AG supervisory board in July. According to the association, the tasks within the Presidium remains divided.
