Gianmarco Pozzecco is the new coach of Galatasaray. The former coach had left the national team bench after the failed adventure at the last European Championship. The former Varese point guard who won the championship in 1999 takes over from Yakup Sekizkök, who was sacked after a complicated first part of the season.
Pozzecco has signed an agreement that binds him to the Istanbul club until the end of the 2026-27 season, with the prospect of joining the future NBA Europe.
