Possible championship game Ajax starts with 4-4-2, AZ wants to ruin the title party

Just like in the home match against PEC Zwolle, Ajax will start against AZ in a 4-4-2 formation. The Alkmaarders lack Sam Beukema, Tijjani Reijnders and Zakaria Aboukhlal in the base. If they win, the team from Amsterdam can become champions, provided Feyenoord beats PSV. If AZ wins, it will be level with FC Twente.

At Ajax, the strikers are Sébastien Haller and Brian Brobbey, Dusan Tadic is in 10 position. Steven Berghuis starts from the couch. The midfield is further formed by Davy Klaassen, Edson Álvarez and Kenneth Taylor. Devyne Rensch starts as right back instead of Youri Regeer. Jurrien Timber, Daley Blind and Nicolas Tagliafico are the other defenders. Goalkeeper is Maarten Stekelenburg.

AZ can do good business this afternoon in the battle for fourth place. Competitor FC Twente lost 2-1 to Fortuna Sittard on Saturday evening due to two goals from Amsterdammer Zian Flemming. The basic eleven of the Alkmaarders has changed in three places compared to the draw against Sparta Rotterdam† Zakaria Abouklal, Sam Beukema and Tijjani Reijnders are sitting on the bench. Hakon Evjen, Pantelis Hatzidiakos and Dani de Wit are kicking off in Alkmaar.

On NH Radio there is an extra long sports broadcast that starts at 2 p.m. Besides a lot of attention for the festivities in Volendam, we are of course also in Alkmaar at AZ – Ajax. With a victory by Ajax and a victory later in the afternoon by Feyenoord against PSV, Ajax is assured of the national title. Of course we also follow this closely.
