Reportedly, Ronaldo will earn 200 million euros a year. That is not only for his football skills, but it also includes some commercial obligations.
Break with Manchester United
The 37-year-old attacker, five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or, forced a break at Manchester United in November. After a particularly critical interview from Ronaldo, Manchester United had the top earner’s contract terminated. The Portuguese said in the TV program Piers Morgan Uncensored among other things that he feels betrayed by the English club and that trainer Erik ten Hag wanted to provoke him.
