Handball – First a Lithuanian, now a Portuguese. Just before the start of the preparation for the new season in the Super Handball League, Hurry-Up strengthened the right side with 25-year-old Daniel Miranda.

The Portuguese left leg comes from his home country. With Arsenal Clube da Devesa, Miranda promoted to the Eredivisie of Portugal.

“I have just finished my university studies and this felt like the perfect moment to enter into a foreign adventure. I am very excited to show myself in the Super Handball League,” said the acquisition of the Zwartemeerders.

Miranda can play on the right corner and right structure. That affects, because Hurry-Up has said goodbye to Harm Meijer and Marek Swarczynski, among others.

Trainer/coach Sven Hemmes about the arrival of the Portuguese: “He is fast, agile, shoots easy and has a good drive to the goal. I am really happy that we have been able to add a player with his experience and game insight to our selection.”

Miranda is reinforcement five of the orange-blacks. Previously, Mika Schoolmeesters, Miguel Wunderink and the Lithuanian goalie Karolis Videika were brought. Fynn Lugering comes over from HSG Nordhorn people.
