UNa via modesta in Chicago’s South Side, the same area as Barack and Michelle Obama. At 212 of E 141st Place of Dolton spent part of his childhood Robert Francis Prevost, Pope Leo XIV, and now in front of what was his home, dozens of people parade to see where everything started. Half an hour from the center of Chicago, dolton is a suburb made of bricks houses and interspersed with level passages crossed by the trains of the Union Pacific, long convoys with the “Building America” logo and carriages drawn with graffiti. The house where Pope Leo XIV grew up was purchased by his parents in 1949 with a mortgage of $ 42 a month.
