Political chaos costs taxpayers millions more: many more politicians on redundancy payments

The political chaos caused by the rapid fall of the Schoof cabinet is costing taxpayers millions of euros extra. Due to the House of Representatives elections in quick succession, the number of recipients of redundancy pay has increased to such an extent that an additional 11 million euros will have to be allocated in the coming years.
