Polish Public Prosecution Service starts investigation into Dutch police, Legia players suspected of assaulting AZ staff

The Polish Public Prosecution Service is launching an investigation into the actions of the Dutch police surrounding the grim match between AZ and Legia Warsaw. According to State Secretary Sebastian Kaleta, there are indications that officers have committed ‘several crimes’ against players and staff of the Polish football champions. Poland does not say a word about the storming of the Polish hooligans. The Dutch police speak of ‘violent violence against officers and stewards’. Outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte calls for patience.
