For the first time since the police reform in 2001, there will be a merger of two police zones in West Flanders. At the latest on January 1, 2027, the zones RIHO and (M) iDow will merge. Riho, that is Roeselare, Izegem and Hooglede. (M) Idow stands for Ingelmunster, Dentergem, Oostrozebeke and Wielsbeke. The details of the collaboration were announced this afternoon.
