The police in Klazienaveen made a most remarkable discovery today. She found several street name and traffic signs at someone’s home and confiscated them.
The municipality owns the plates and has a loss of 2,500 euros due to their replacement. “It may look nice to have these kinds of signs in your shed or shack, but it is simply punishable because the signs come from theft,” the police write on Facebook.
“So if you have these plates in your possession, you can become a suspect of handling and theft,” the police continues. The traffic sign thief has not been arrested.
