A seriously injured man was also found in the house in Maastricht where the body of a man was found on Friday evening. The victim was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries. The police suspect it is a crime.
The police received a report of a suspicious situation at a house on Lambrecht van Middelhovenweg around 10:40 PM on Friday.
Dead and seriously injured
There, officers found a body. Next to it was a second man, who was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital, but help was of no avail. He died of his injuries in the night from Friday to Saturday. It is likely that both men were residents of the house.
Research
It is not yet known what happened in the house. Since Friday evening, forensic investigators have been looking for traces in and around the building.
