Neighborhood agents of the Breda-East police were called on Sunday night by someone who thought the suspect walked through the neighbors’ house with a flashlight. The police then decided to surround the house. A police dog was also deployed.
When the agents arrived at the house, they too saw slightly moving in the house.
“We had to laugh about this.”
“Together with my colleague I looked into the house and what did we see then? The light in the house came from the robot vacuum cleaner that was doing his work,” says one of the neighborhood agents on Instagram.
“We had to laugh about this. Fortunately it wasn’t a burglar!”
“We’d rather come extra than not!”
The local police officer emphasizes that people are so attentive. “Do you come across a suspicious situation, then also report this. We’d rather come once extra than not!”
