In the TV program Opsporing Verzocht, the last known images of Boushra were shown, made on August 7. She then says two of her children to go to an appointment. On the day of her disappearance, the woman wore a black djellaba with white stripes on the side and white or light -colored sneakers.
That same morning it turned out that something was wrong. Boushra did not show up at the daycare at 11.30 am to pick up her other children. Employees there immediately raised the alarm.
The 34-year-old Omar Alhamad was filmed that same morning when he left the asylum reception center in Zeist where he had shelter. He was later captured when he refueled along the A1 near Amersfoort. Omar rode in a gray Peugeot 307 SW (station wagon) with roof racks.
The Peugeot in which the woman may have been taken was for sale last December in Leeuwarden. The vehicle was offered on Marktplaats for 899 euros.
Very remarkable: half an hour before Boushra was last filmed in Almere, a similar car appeared in a parking lot near the Poortdreef. The driver got out and a little later.
The police have the strong suspicion that the driver is Omar Alhamad. Around 10 am, two minutes after Boushra disappeared from the screen, a car left that location – it looks like a Peugeot 307 SW with roof racks. This car has not been found yet.
The Public Prosecution Service already praised a reward of 10,000 euros for the golden tip that leads to the suspect. Alhamad is sturdy in build and has short dark hair. The police do not rule out that he has had help.
A week after her loss, her body was found around noon in the De Kiem parking lot, near the Homeruspad in Almere. From the moment of her loss, the police already assumed a serious crime.
To praise reward for a golden tip about the suspect in murder case Syrian woman (24) in Almere
The Albert Heijn where she was last seen is on Olivier van Noortstraat in Almere. That is near the parking lot where she was eventually found lifeless.
Stay-of-my-body house
Boushra was in a stay-of-my-body house after serious threats of her husband and several times violence. Nevertheless, he managed to find out her place of residence. The backgrounds are still being investigated: he had an appointment with her there. That was strongly discouraged by her.
It is remarkable that a man with the same name and the same year of birth as Alhamad on 12 March 2024 was imposed a two -year entry ban for the Netherlands from the State Secretary for Justice and Security. According to the official announcement in the Government Gazette, he then left the European Union.
Police confirms: Body found in Almere is of missing Syrian woman (24)
Nevertheless, he had a roof above his head in the asylum shelter in Zeist. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice and Security reports on a request from De Telegraaf to “not be able to make any substantive communications about individual matters”.
Several sources from De Telegraaf immediately report that the man probably fled the border. The Central Netherlands police do not want to confirm that. Insiders report that the chance is real that he will be in Germany, or even managed to reach his native Syria.
Ryan (18) killed from Joure was in heavy security system police
In the latter case, the case is reminiscent of that of Ryan Al Najjar’s father from Joure. He would have ordered the murder of his 18 -year -old daughter, after which he returned to Syria – the country he fled with his family because of the war – to hide there.
The trial against his two sons and Ryan’s brothers, Muhanad and Mohamed Al N. is still running. They are still detained, awaiting the substantive handling of the case.
