A chase from the Ookmeerweg in Amsterdam ended tonight at the Orchideelaan in Badhoevedorp. The driver fled and has not yet been found.
According to a police spokesman, the driver of the car was stopped for a check. At this he ran off. “That resulted in a chase. The car has been found, but the driver has not yet been found.” Among other things, dogs were used to search for the fled motorist, who drove a white Mercedes with a German license plate.
On Burgernet, people were called to look out for a light-skinned man of around 30 years old with black hair. He was wearing a beige suit and a brown turtleneck.
