Police have first clue to missing Luisa (14)

By Matthias Lukashevich

A first sigh of relief from Luisa’s (14) parents and the police: the girl who has been missing for a week is apparently with her boyfriend, who lives in Cottbus. But they still haven’t found it there!

The police said in the morning that “the child’s whereabouts are known”. Police spokeswoman Ines Filohn said: “She is with a young adult she knows. The parents know that and so do we.” It is probably her boyfriend. But Luisa was not found there. It is still unclear whether she is traveling with her boyfriend.

One thing is clear: the parents are very worried because they don’t know where their daughter is. Therefore, “Luisa is still considered missing,” as the spokeswoman emphasized. Because a 14-year-old cannot decide for herself where she wants to stay. “Only the parents as legal guardians can do that.

But it is also clear: “There is no evidence of a crime,” as the spokeswoman emphasized.

Apparently the parents decided to call the police because their child should come home. “You can’t just disappear for a week without reporting,” spokeswoman Filohn said.

The student from Leuthen attends the Paul Werner comprehensive school in Cottbus. She was last there last Friday, June 2nd. In the afternoon, they lose track of them on the Leuthen platform. She arrived there from Cottbus between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. According to witnesses, she is said to have argued with a man there. It is still unclear whether it was her friend from Cottbus.
