About 200 FC Groningen supporters were met by the ME and taken off the train at Groningen’s main station. This happened around midnight after the match Excelsior – FC Groningen in Rotterdam.

In Zwolle, the police already had to take action to ‘help’ the FC supporters to transfer, reports RTV Focus Zwolle . “With about eight cars, one bus and a police dog car, the police arrived at Zwolle Station around ten to nine,” said the local news site.
